A mural strengthen relationships between high school students and Port of Portland Police is now on display at Portland International Airport.
As part of a commitment to building strong relationships with the community, Port Police reached out to MEChA club students from Fort Vancouver High School, Adelante students from Hudson’s Bay High School, and muralist Rodolfo Serna.
The resulting student-inspired mural, “The Protectors,” helped police connect with youth in a creative way while also showcasing student art in the airport. Check it out in this video and in person next time you fly PDX.
